Just after noon on September 3, 2015 companies from the Fourth Battalion were dispatched to a reported dwelling fire in the 5100 block of Harford Road in the Hamilton section of north east Baltimore. As units approached the scene they saw heavy smoke showing from a 2-story brick row house. When crews made their way to the rear they found heavy fire from the garage extending up the outside of the house and involving an outside wooden deck. Battalion Chief 4, Arnold Turner, arrived, assumed Command and requested a working fire assignment. Companies knocked the fire down quickly with some extension to the outside exposure on Side B. Crews also entered the homes to check for any interior extension. The fire was under control in less than 30 minutes and Fire Investigation was requested to the scene. There were no injuries reported.
