Around 1620 hours stations 2, 16 and 1 were dispatched to a house fire on the 400 block of Cole Cir. Engine 2 arrived and confirmed a working fire in a single story single family with fire in the rear. The crew from engine 2 stretched an attack line through the A side and quickly knock down the fire in the B/C corner of the residence while the crew from tower 16 searched the residence with negative results. Additional lines were stretched to knock down fire on the outside of the residence on the c side while interior crews knocked down hot spots in the attic. Units remained on scene for about an hour while the FM units investigated the incident. The home was occupied at the time but all occupants exited the residence without injury.
