On September 30, 2016 around 3:00PM two automobiles collided in a head-on collision at the intersection of Frederick Avenue and Stonecroft Road in the North Bend section of southwest Baltimore, a few blocks from the City-County line. Engine 30 was dispatched along with Baltimore County Medic 4 from Catonsville. When they arrived they found several people injured with two people trapped in one of the cars. Unable to get them out Truck 8 was dispatched along with several more medics and a rescue assignment. Units worked for about 20 minutes to cut the roof off of the car and free the remaining two trapped victims from the wreckage. Several patients were transported to area hospitals with non life threatening injuries.
