Around 1:00PM on June 24th a fire was reported in an apartment building in box area 17-19 located at 9 Warren Lodge Court. The first units on the scene from Texas Station arrived to find a 3-story multi-unit complex with heavy smoke showing on the second and third floor of sides A and B and made it a working fire. Companies made their way into the building and found fire in a third floor apartment with extension into the common ceiling and roof area of four units. Division Chief 1 arrived and took command and requested a second alarm within ten minutes. Units knocked the fire down and pulled ceilings to extinguish the fire above them and it was placed under control within 45 minutes. Crews remained on the scene overhauling and Fire Investigators were called to determine the cause. There were no injuries reported. There was another 2-alarm fire in the same apartment complex in December of 2010 that destroyed about 8 apartments.
