At 1127 hours on December 16, 2015 4th Battalion units were dispatched to fire box 4-80 for a reported dwelling fire located at 5115 Kenilworth Avenue in the Govans section of north Baltimore. Companies enroute reported heavy smoke showing in the area. First arriving units reported heavy smoke showing from the front and heavy fire in the rear of a 1 ½ story single family brick home. Battalion Chief 4 arrived and took command making it a working fire. Companies were at first having trouble gaining entry to the rear. Companies in the front made entry and knocked most of the visible fire and discovered a basement fire burning below them. The fire also had gotten into the attic above them. The fire was brought under control in an hour. No one was at home at the time. Fire Investigation was requested to the scene,
