Around noon on February 17, 2015 Baltimore County west side units were dispatched to Box Area 3-11 for a dwelling fire in the 8000 block of Remington Avenue.
Units from Woodlawn (Station 3) and Randallstown (Station 18) arrived first to find heavy smoke showing from a single family one-story rancher. Crews made an interior attack and quickly knocked down the fire. It had traveled into the ceiling areas above the bedroom and garage areas and units had to cut into the roof area around the chimney. The fire was brought under control within 40 minutes and no injuries were reported. FID was requested to the scene by Battalion Chief 2.
