Around 1230 hours on August 14th an overturned truck created a traffic delay in the area of Security Boulevard and Forest Park Avenue just inside the county at the Baltimore City-County line. A cement mixer truck was traveling westbound on Security Blvd. when it turned north on the ramp to Forest Park Ave. As it rounded the turn the momentum of the truck overturned the truck on to its side where it slid another 50-75 feet before it stopped. Companies from Westview Station13 were alerted and responded to the scene. The driver managed to get out of the truck on his own before firefighters arrived. He was examined by Paramedics and transported to the hospital to check for injuries. Baltimore County Police were also on the scene directing traffic and investigating the accident. The major intersection was tied up for more than an hour while a tow truck up righted the truck and towed it away. No other vehicles were involved.
