Around 1600 hours on Saturday, March 13, 2021 Baltimore County 9-1-1 received calls reporting a chimney fire at a townhouse located in the gated community of Greene Tree in Pikesville. Fire Box 2-27 was dispatched and units arrived at 75-77 Raisin Tree Circle and initially reported nothing showing. Several minutes later when crews entered the house heavy smoke and fire vented through the roof of the structure. Engine 2 called for a working fire assignment while crews began an interior attack. Pikesville Volunteer’s Tower 323 set up in front to hit the roof from outside.
Most of the fire was in the attic area above the second floor and extended to the adjoining home. It was quickly contained and controlled within half an hour and units were on the scene for about two hours with extensive overhaul. No injuries were reported.
