On April 5, 2010 at approximately 0830 hours crews were dispatched to a report of smoke in the house in the 5400 block of Thunder Hill Road. Units arrived to find smoke showing from the roof of a two-story, single family house. Firefighters found the fire in the basement. The house was not sprinklered, however, luck was on the owners' side, as a water pipe burst and kept the fire in check. Additional units were assigned to the call, but not used, and were placed in service. No injuries were reported, and fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire. Pat LePore

Howard;
Great people shots. I got shots of the fireground, too, but there wasn't much happening when I was there. I guess you got there shortly after I left.

If you want to see my shots, check them out at http://howardfire.net.

Again, great people shots!
