At about 1312 hours on July 8th Baltimore County west side companies were alerted for a two-vehicle accident with entrapment at N. Rolling and Chesworth Roads in the Westview area of the County. Engine and Truck 13 arrived on the scene and had a car vs. pick-up truck accident with the driver of the car injured and trapped in the vehicle.
Rescue crews began to cut the roof off of the car to gain access to the injured patient.
The roof was removed and the driver was freed in about 15 minutes. She was loaded into a waiting medic unit to begin getting treatment. The driver of the pick-up truck was also removed from his vehicle and loaded up in a medic unit. Both patients were then transported to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Baltimore County PD was on the scene to investigate the crash.
